Customizing Your Settings: Google Calendar, Participants, Word Memory

1. Calendar Integration

Tiro supports integration with Google Calendar. Click “Connect to Google Calendar” on the right side of the main screen to easily link your account.

Once connected, you can create notes directly for meetings listed in your calendar from the right-hand panel on the main screen.

  • Upcoming Events: View scheduled events from your integrated calendar for the next 7 days. If you have more than three events, scroll down to see additional entries.

  • Automated Note Setup: When creating a note for a calendar event, the event’s title and participants will automatically be applied to the note.

To add another Google Calendar or manage linked calendars, go to Settings > Calendar.

You can access the settings window by clicking the account icon in the bottom left corner of the main screen.

2. Managing Participants

In Settings > Participants, you can view and edit the participant list entered during note creation. Save the names and emails of frequent collaborators, such as team members, for easier access.

  • Quick Participant Search: By saving participants’ names and emails, you can quickly add them to new notes by typing their saved names.

  • Improved Recognition: When participants are specified in advance, Tiro can better recognize their names during transcription. You can also search notes by participants later for more precise results.

3. Word Memory

Save unique terms, such as company names, people’s names, or product names, in Word Memory to ensure accurate transcription. Tiro will reference your word memory during recordings to capture important terms without errors.

You can add or edit word entries in Settings > Word Memory.
