What this article covers

On Android, you manage your Tiro subscription through the Google Play Store.

  1. Tap the round profile icon at the top right of the note list screen to open Settings.

  2. Plan section, the subscription status card at the top shows your current plan, usage, and next billing date.

  3. To change your payment method or cancel your subscription, tap Payment Management in the same section.

Tapping [Settings] → [Plan] → [Payment Management] in the Tiro app pulls subscription info from the Google account currently signed in to the Play Store on this device.

If the Google account you used at checkout differs from the one signed in to the Play Store now, you may see “Subscription Not Found.”

  1. Open the [Google Play] app on your phone.

  2. Tap the profile icon at the top right → [Payments & subscriptions][Subscriptions] tab.

  3. The Google account that shows [Tiro] under active subscriptions is the one you paid with.

(If Tiro doesn’t appear, check the subscription lists of your other Google accounts as well.)

  4. Sign in to the Play Store with that account, then tap [Payment Management] in the Tiro app again.

Tiro support can’t look up which Google account you used to pay. Please check using the steps above or the receipt email you received after the purchase.

  1. Open the Google Play Store → Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions in order.

  2. Active subscriptions — find Tiro in the list.

  3. You can see your current plan and the next billing date at a glance.

In the screen below, the Lite plan is billed on the 30th every month, and the next payment is July 30.

Tiro doesn’t appear in my subscription list

Check that the Google account signed in to the Play Store is the one you paid with.

If you use multiple Google accounts, make sure it’s the account you were signed in to when you subscribed. You can also check the Play Store receipt email to see which account was charged.

On the Play Store, to switch the signed-in account, tap the profile icon at the top right of the Play Store app, then choose another account from the Switch account menu. Return to the Subscriptions page to check again.

  1. Tap the button at the top left of the Tiro main screen.

  2. Settings (the gear icon).

  3. Tap [Manage Plan] below the usage indicator.

  4. Select the plan you want, then tap [Buy Now].

You can change your plan at any time. It takes just a few taps and applies immediately.

Upgrading means switching to a plan that offers more features and a larger usage limit than your current plan.

  • The upgrade applies immediately after payment.

  • New features and usage are available right away.

  • You’ll be billed for the upgraded plan from the next billing cycle.

Upgrading means switching to a plan that fewer features or a smaller usage limit than your current plan.

  • You move to the lower plan immediately.

  • No partial refund is provided for the period you’ve already paid for.

This is a limitation of the Google Play Store’s billing policy. Thank you for understanding.

Does cancelling my subscription give me a refund?

Cancellation and refund are different. Cancelling a subscription means the next scheduled payment will not be charged. A refund returns money you’ve already paid — see the refund guide below.

  1. “Checking Your Active Subscription” — follow these steps first to check your subscription status.

  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.

  3. Cancel subscription → (enter a reason) → Cancel subscription — tap in order to cancel.

In the screen below, the payment scheduled for July 30 is cancelled.

If you can’t access the Play Store app directly, use the subscription cancellation link to cancel an upcoming subscription.

Open the link → Cancel subscription → Confirm account → Select the subscription → Cancel subscription — follow this order to cancel. Make sure the account you’re signed in to matches the one you paid with.

In-app purchases (Android or iOS) can’t be refunded by Tiro directly.

Instead, you can request a refund from the Google Play Store (or App Store). Follow the steps below — it’s not difficult.

1. Google Play Store refund request link — open it
