Android subscription management

The following details explain how you can manage your existing subscriptions via the Google Play Store for Android in-app purchases.

  1. Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the main screen.

  2. Click the gear icon next to your account name.

  3. Select the "Manage Plan" option.

  4. Choose your desired plan and proceed with the payment.

  1. Open the Google Play Store > Account > Subscriptions and Payments > Subscriptions.

  2. Look for Tiro under Active Subscriptions.Here, you can check the current plan and the next payment date.For example, the 'Light Plan' is charged on the 30th of each month, with the next payment due on July 30th.

Ensure that the Google account you’re logged into in the Play Store is the one used for payment.If you use multiple Google accounts, make sure to log in with the account that was used for the subscription. You can confirm which account was used by checking the email receipt from Play Store after payment.To switch accounts in Play Store, select your profile icon at the top right of the app, then choose the account you want from the account switch menu. You can then return to the subscriptions page and check again.

Subscription cancellation and refunds are different. Cancelling a subscription means that no payment will be made on the next scheduled payment date. A refund, on the other hand, is for getting back the amount you’ve already paid, which can be requested through the following refund process.

  1. First, check your subscription status by following the Check Active Subscription Plan steps above.

  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.

  3. Click Cancel Subscription > enter a cancellation reason > click Cancel Subscription to finalize.

In the example below, a subscription scheduled for July 30th is cancelled.

If you cannot access Play Store directly, you can cancel your upcoming subscription via a cancellation link.

  1. Access the cancellation link > select Cancel Subscription > verify your account > select your subscription > click Cancel Subscription.Make sure the account used for payment and the account you're canceling are the same.

Tiro cannot directly assist with refunds for in-app purchases (Android or iOS) However, you can request a refund directly from the Google Play Store (or App Store). Follow the steps below for a simple solution!

Important!Ensure the Google account you’re logged into is the same one used for the Tiro payment.If you use multiple Google accounts, double-check the account you logged into when subscribing.You can confirm the account used by checking the receipt email sent by Play Store.

To switch accounts in Play Store, select the profile icon at the top right of the app, choose Account Switch, and then verify the correct account before checking your subscriptions.
