Manage iOS in-app purchases (check, cancel, refund)

For iOS in-app purchases, you manage your subscription through the Apple App Store.

  1. Tap the three lines in the top left of the main screen.

  2. Tap the gear next to your account name.

  3. Tap Plan management.

  4. Then choose the plan you want and complete payment.

  1. Go to App Store > Account > Subscriptions.

  2. Find Tiro in your list of subscriptions.

  3. You can see your current plan and the next billing (renewal) date right away.For example, the Light plan is billed on the 11th of each month, and the next billing date is June 11.

  1. In the Check your current plan step, select Tiro.

  2. See all plans: tap this to see every available plan.

  3. Choose the plan you want, and you can change your plan immediately.

You buy a subscription that offers a higher tier than your current one. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and a prorated amount of your previous subscription is refunded.

You choose a subscription that offers a lower tier than your current one. Your current subscription stays active until the next renewal date, then renews at the lower tier and price on the renewal date.

  1. In the Check your current plan step, select Tiro.

  2. Cancel subscription: select this to cancel your subscription so you aren't billed from the next billing date. You can keep using Tiro normally until then.

Does canceling give me a refund?

Canceling and refunding are different. Canceling means stopping your recurring subscription so you aren't charged on the next billing date.A refund returns money you already paid, which you can request using the refund guide below.

For in-app purchases (iOS or Android), Tiro can't process the refund directly

Instead, the App Store (or Google Play Store) lets you request a refund directly. Follow the steps below; it's straightforward.

  1. Open the App Store refund link.

  2. Log in with the Apple account (App Store account) used for the purchase

    • For the issue, choose: Request a refund

    • For the detail, choose: I didn't mean to buy this item

    • Select the Tiro purchase

  3. Once you've made all the selections, tap Submit to complete your refund request.

    It can take about 1 to 2 days for the refunded amount to be deposited.

Heads up

Be sure to check the payment date. If you select the wrong charge, the refund may not go through.
