# Sign up for Tiro

> Your first Google, Microsoft, SSO, or Apple sign-in creates an account. You can also sign up with email on the web.

## Which sign-up method can I use?

You can sign up with Google, Microsoft, SSO, Apple, or email. Google, Microsoft, SSO, and Apple have no separate sign-up button; your Tiro account is created the **first** time you sign in successfully. Email uses a separate sign-up flow on the web.

| Sign-up method | How the account is created | Tiro password |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- |
| Google | Created automatically on your first successful sign-in | None |
| Microsoft | Created automatically on your first successful sign-in | None |
| SSO | Created automatically on your first successful company SSO sign-in | None |
| Apple | Created automatically on your first successful sign-in in the iPhone or iPad app | None |
| Email | Explicit sign-up flow on the web | Yes (you set it) |

Remember which method you used. You can start at [tiro.ooo](https://tiro.ooo), then use the same method on supported devices. To add another method later, see the [account management guide](/en/guide/account/overview).

<Note>Signing up creates a workspace and grants 100 minutes right away. Complete four onboarding tasks within 3 weeks to earn 50 minutes per task and increase your [free trial](/en/guide/workspace/free-trial) allowance to 300 minutes. No payment method is required.</Note>

## How do I sign up with Google?

With a Google account, your first sign-in is your sign-up. Open the sign-in window at [tiro.ooo](https://tiro.ooo), agree to the Privacy Policy, then press **\[Continue with Google]**. Pick your Google account and finish authenticating: if it's a new account, a Tiro account is created; if it already exists, you simply sign in.

An account created with Google has no Tiro password. The next time you sign in, you skip the password and come in through **\[Continue with Google]**.

## How do I sign up with Microsoft?

With a Microsoft account, too, your first sign-in is your sign-up. Press **\[Continue with Microsoft]** in the sign-in window and authenticate with your Microsoft account; if it's your first time, a Tiro account is created right there. As with Google, there's no Tiro password, and from then on you sign in through **\[Continue with Microsoft]**.

A Microsoft account needs an email address. If you sign in with a Microsoft account that has no email, you see "Your Microsoft account needs an email address." Depending on your account settings, you may also need to enter a 6-digit verification code sent to your Microsoft account email once.

## How do I sign up with SSO?

SSO sign-in is exclusive to the [Enterprise plan](/en/guide/workspace/enterprise). If your company has configured Tiro SSO, press **\[Continue with SSO]** and enter your work email. Finish authentication on your company's sign-in page. Your first successful sign-in creates your Tiro account; use the same button afterward. Domains configured as SSO-only must use this method instead of email sign-up.

## How do I sign up with Apple?

Apple sign-in is available in the Tiro app for iPhone and iPad. Press **\[Continue with Apple]** and authenticate. Your first successful sign-in creates your account. Apple accounts have no Tiro password, so use the Apple button next time too.

## How do I sign up with email?

Email sign-up happens on the web at [tiro.ooo](https://tiro.ooo). Once you finish, you can sign in with the same email and password on the desktop and mobile apps too.

  </Step>
</Steps>

If the verification email doesn't arrive, check your spam or promotions folder first, then press **\[Resend verification code]**. If it still doesn't arrive, see [Emails you're expecting don't arrive](/en/guide/troubleshooting/email).

## What should I check when sign-up doesn't work?

When sign-up stalls, check these causes first.

* **It's an SSO-only domain**: If your company set your email domain to SSO only, sign up and sign in with **\[Continue with SSO]** instead of email. Entering the email shows "This email domain requires SSO login."
* **The email is already in use**: If that email already has a Tiro account, you see "This email is already in use." Sign in instead of signing up, and if you can't remember your password, reset it with the **\[Forgot your password?]** link in the sign-in window. If the account was created with a social login, see [When you can't sign in](/en/guide/troubleshooting/login).
* **The verification email doesn't arrive**: Check your spam or promotions folder and press **\[Resend verification code]**. For a fuller check, see [Emails you're expecting don't arrive](/en/guide/troubleshooting/email).
* **The Microsoft account has no email**: You can't sign up with a Microsoft account that has no email attached. Add an email to the Microsoft account and try again.

## What are the frequently asked questions about sign-up?

### I want to sign up with Google or Microsoft, but there's no sign-up button

Google and Microsoft have no separate sign-up button. When you sign in successfully for the first time with **\[Continue with Google]** or **\[Continue with Microsoft]**, your account is created at that moment. Sign-in and sign-up run through the same button, so a first-time account is created automatically.

### If I sign up with a social account, how do I set a password?

An account created with Google or Microsoft has no Tiro password from the start. There's no password to set and none to reset; just sign in again with the social button you used to sign up.

### If I sign up with email, can I use it in the apps too?

Yes. Email sign-up happens on the web, but once you finish, you can sign in with the same email and password on the desktop and mobile apps too.

### I can't remember which method I used to sign up

Signing in with the method you used to sign up is the surest way. On the web and desktop app, a **Last Used** badge above the button you last used on that device gives you a hint. If you're still unsure, try **\[Continue with Google]** and **\[Continue with Microsoft]** with the same email in turn.

### Can I sign up with a work email?

Yes. Anyone can sign up with email, with no organization domain registration needed. That said, if your company set the domain to SSO only, sign up and sign in with **\[Continue with SSO]** instead of email.

### The verification email doesn't arrive

Check your spam or promotions folder first and press **\[Resend verification code]**. Searching your inbox for the sender [noreply@send.tiro.ooo](mailto:noreply@send.tiro.ooo) also helps. If it still doesn't arrive, see [Emails you're expecting don't arrive](/en/guide/troubleshooting/email).
