# Frequently asked questions

> Common questions about downloading recordings, login problems, and using Tiro abroad. Includes links to detailed guides for each symptom.

## Jump to a fix by symptom

* Recording doesn't work, or only part of it is captured → [When live recording fails](/en/guide/troubleshooting/recording)
* An offline recording fails to upload or gets stuck → [When an upload fails](/en/guide/troubleshooting/upload-failed)
* You deleted a note by mistake → [Recover a deleted note](/en/guide/troubleshooting/deleted-note)
* You paid but the plan isn't applied → [When a payment isn't applied](/en/guide/troubleshooting/billing-not-applied)
* You can't sign in (Google account recovery or verification screens, or a work Microsoft account) → [When you can't log in](/en/guide/troubleshooting/login)
* The desktop app won't update → [When the app won't update](/en/guide/troubleshooting/desktop-update)
* An email you're expecting never arrives → [Email guide](/en/guide/troubleshooting/email)

## Can I select all my notes at once?

There's no select-all button. In the web and desktop apps, hover over a note to reveal a checkbox on the left. Check the first note, then hold `Shift` and click the last note's checkbox to select everything in between within the notes currently loaded. If the list is long, scroll down first to load the notes you need, then select them in sections.

## Can I download the audio file I recorded?

It depends on where you're using Tiro.

* **Web**: Downloading audio files isn't supported.
* **Desktop app (Windows and Mac)**: Yes. Before you record, turn on the **\[Local audio storage]** toggle under **\[Settings]** → **\[Preferences]**. Only notes you record after turning it on can be downloaded. In a note with a saved file, open the **\[⋯]** menu in the top-right corner and select **\[Download Audio File]**. For details, see [Save audio locally](/en/guide/notes/local-audio).
* **Mobile app**: Long-press a note to use the **\[Download Audio]** menu, or export from a note's screen with **\[⋯]** → **\[Share Audio]**. For details, see [Manage audio files](/en/guide/notes/audio-manage).

For security, recordings are stored on your device rather than on the server. So you can only download from the device that made the recording, and deleting the app may delete your recordings along with it.

## I can't sign in from a link I received in KakaoTalk

In-app browsers in apps like KakaoTalk or Instagram may not handle Google and Microsoft social login correctly. Long-press the link or use the share menu to choose **Open in your default browser (Chrome, Safari, and so on)**.

## Can I use Tiro in China?

Yes, you can. That said, some connections such as Google login may be blocked on Chinese networks, so we recommend using a VPN. On Android, push notifications (FCM) may not work.

## Is there a discount for Deaf or hard-of-hearing people?

Yes. The official name is the **Accessibility Support Program**. Eligible applicants with Korean disability documentation receive a permanent 50% discount on Lite, Pro, and Max. See the [Accessibility Support Program details](https://tiro.ooo/ko/accessibility) for eligibility, benefits, and how to apply. The program details and application process are currently available in Korean.

## My problem isn't listed here

Reach out through the **Support** button in the Tiro app or on the website. Tell us when the problem happened, your environment (Web, Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS), and the creation time of the note involved, and we can help you faster.

## Report feature issues with the report form

Use the bug report form when a feature is not working correctly. Start from the support chat.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Support">
    In the web and desktop apps, click **Profile in the top left > Support**. In the mobile app, tap **\[Support]** in My Page to open the chat.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the report category">
    In the chat, select **\[Something isn't working]**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the form from your link">
    Your personal report link appears in the chat. Open it to start the form. The link already includes your support information, so you don't need to enter your account details again.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The form is available in Korean, English, and Japanese. It follows the language you used to start the chat.

Most questions are multiple choice. Choose one of eight symptoms, select the situation that best matches what happened, and answer the follow-up questions. If none fit, choose **\[My issue isn't listed]** and describe it directly.

It helps to prepare:

* The affected note or screen
* When the problem first appeared
* What happened when you tried the same action again
* A screenshot or screen recording of the issue (optional, up to 4 MB)

<Tip>Your account and plan, app version and device information, and server records from that time are sent automatically with the report. You don't need to enter them yourself.</Tip>

<Note>This form isn't for missing recording or transcript content, missing notes, sync issues between devices, or unexpected app crashes. Tell us directly in the chat so our team can continue from there.</Note>
