Tiro User Guide

Tiro API & MCP & CLI Guide

Tiro offers API and MCP as beta services, letting you connect Tiro with external services or AI agents.

Use the Tiro API to work with Tiro data programmatically from external systems. You can list and search notes, process audio files, and receive webhooks, with APIs for other key resources like Folder and Word Memory also available.

Use Tiro MCP when you want to bring Tiro notes directly into AI agents that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude. You can ask your AI agent things like "Summarize this week's meetings" and get answers based on your Tiro notes.

Use the Tiro CLI when you want to work with your Tiro notes from the command line. You can search notes or save transcripts to files, which is useful in automation scripts and CI environments where the MCP server isn't reachable.

You can find detailed guides on authentication, API endpoints, webhook events, and connecting to the MCP server in the developer documentation.
