What is a one-page document?
A one-page document is a summary that structures the whole conversation by topic. Instead of listing things in chronological order, it groups them by subject, so someone who wasn’t in the meeting can read it and understand the key points as if they’d been there.- It’s created automatically when recording ends.
- It’s written in the language you set as your recording language.
Turn auto-generation on or off
Control this in [Settings] → [Preferences], under [Auto-generate after recording]. Turn the switch on and choose which summary and custom document templates to auto-generate. With no template selected, no document is created when recording ends, so generate one yourself with the [Generate Document] button whenever you need it.Check which part of the conversation a summary came from
You can see right on the document which remark each part of your one-page document came from. Turn on the [Show references] item in the more (…) menu next to the note title, and markers pointing to the source appear inside the document.1

Open the more (…) menu next to the note title and turn on the [Show references] toggle.

Preview the source
Hover over a reference marker in the document to preview which paragraph the content came from.

Jump to the original
Click the preview to jump to the transcript paragraph it came from, with the original script shown alongside. When you’re done, the [Back to document] button returns you to where you were.
The [Show references] item appears in the menu only for summaries that carry reference data. It’s available on the web, and its on/off state is remembered on the device you were viewing from.
Change the format to fit you
If the default one-page format runs too long or doesn’t match the structure you want, define your own format.- In templates, build your own template with the sections you want. If you prefer a concise summary, write that instruction in.
- In a note, click the [Generate Document] button and pick that template, and the same conversation is organized your way.
Frequently asked questions
My one-page document got longer than before. Can I switch back to a shorter format?
The default format was improved to aim for “a detailed summary anyone who missed the meeting can follow.” If you prefer a shorter summary, create a custom template in your template manager and use it. See templates to learn how.Recording ended, but I don’t see a one-page document.
Even with the [Auto-generate after recording] switch on, no one-page document is created unless you’ve selected the [One-Pager] template in the auto-generate template list. In [Settings] → [Preferences], check that the switch is on and that [One-Pager] is picked from the template list underneath it. Once you find the cause, generate one right now with the [Generate Document] button.I edited the transcript, but the document didn’t update.
